Hello there, I'm Preetham Steve D'Souza/Preetham. S.D; I am glad that you read my poems. I wanted to make my blog a special one so as this background boldly states "A poet's thoughts arise from his/her brain and from the brain, it's beautifully translated and inscribed on a piece of paper". Being a boy of 13(now 19); I want to bring out a new way of imagination in the great minds of the present world.-Preetham.S.D (ⓒAll right reserved)

'A Flower in the balcony' in this poem the poet sits admiring the beauty and the fate of an odd flower in a balcony nearby, he is worried about some unusual presence of that flower which survived, but it soon was going to wither away. .
A flower in the balcony
On a sunny day’s noon,
I saw a flower in the balcony,
The charm that the flower had would fade away soon,
That’s why I sat gazing at it silently;
That wondrous flower had a fascinating colour,
Oh, that sunlight which pierced its petals,
Enough to make them obstinately smaller,
Their beauty was enough to kill hundreds of mortals;
Hundreds of bees buzzing around that flower,
Attracted by the glossy surface,
While the bees sipped the nectar, I sat for hours,
Looking at the enchanted portrait with grace;
But I can’t assure you about those obscure objects that the balcony had,
Other plants and flowers dried up by the scorching sun,
Soon to realize that the drying flowers were forced to survive,
I wasn’t surprised, for that balcony had none but one charming flower left.
